Reactie Christoph op World Cup in Canada

MTB World Cup in Mont Sainte Anne #3, Christoph: "The Mont Ste Anne course is very technical and demanding. So it was no surprise that after the first lap the leading group was down to only 6 riders, and halfway through the race it halved again.  Of course it was great to be in the lead group, but unfortunately I was in good company with overall second and third ranked Julien Absalon and Lado Fumic. With one lap to go I attacked but Absalon was still on my wheel. Not for long though because he attacked again and I could not keep up with him any more. Seeing my chance of a win go up in smoke, I just tried to save my second place.  Absalon has now only ten points less than me in the overall standings. So, I have to keep doing smart training and recovery for the next World Cup in two weeks."
