DH
On Wednesday Downhill practice started. My first practice day went not so good. I had no self confidence on this course. The course was fast, technical and had some steep sections in it. Thursday afternoon we already had qualifying, I did an easy run and ended up in 16th place. I knew I had one more day left to get my rhythm going on this course. The final: The top section of the course went good, but I made a little mistake in the steep wood section and lost some time. I ended just out site the top 10 in a 13th place.

4XThe 4x course was long and fast. After the first day of practice I had a good feeling on the course. I qualified in 8th place. My first rounds went easy and I went trough to the semi final.  In the semi-final I got pushed in, to the inside of the first turn and I was not able to carry my speed. I eliminated in the semi-final and went trough to the B-final. The crowd was amazing, it was packed with people cheering for us.I ended up in 3rd place in the B-final so that means 7th place overall.
NOTE:Going in to the world championship weekend I was in 2nd place of the UCI world raking 4X.
This weekend we have the World Cup finals in Livigno Italy.
Greetings,Anneke Beerten
