I am very proud to say that I will be riding for the Specialized world team this season. I will be riding on a Demo 8 for Downhill and an SX for 4X.I just returned from a press camp in Mallorca with Sram - Rock Shox. We tested some of their new products there. (The XO trigger is amazing.) 15 of the top MTB magazines in Europe came out to the camp to take photos of the Sram athletes riding the new products.
Yesterday I had my first race of the season. Specialized U.K invited me to come over and race the final round of the Specialized winter DH series.I was stoked to be here and ride my new Demo 8 bike for the fist time. The course was a lot of fun. It was in perfect condition, technical and flowing. On my first couple of practice runs I was feeling good on my new bike. My final run went smoothly with no mistakes. I will be in the U.K till Wednesday for some photo shoots and riding. This weekend I will be racing at the first Maxxis cup in Portugal. On the next page you will find my racing program till end July. I am looking forward to see every one of you again this season. Greetings,Anneke Beerten
