Calgary - Team Be One / MadHouse arrived in Calgary for their 5th world cup of the season. This was the first time that a world cup race was held in Calgary, an event organized by the people off Upsolut. Upon arrival things looked very well organized and the pit area was nicely set up in the Canada Olympic park at the bottom off the 90 meter Olympic ski jump.

Although the DH course is very short and flat, " We are having fun riding this course , although it is a bit different to what we are used to " said Claudio Caluori. The 4X was fast and long "This is what I like , I can really get the power down on courses like this" said team manager and 4X rider Bas de Bever.

4XBas qualified in 10th spot , and won his 2 first rounds "I was feeling strong like last week, and I was feeling I could make the main again" however in the semi final Bas his chain came off and had to settle for the small final."It was Lopes , Schmith , Rennie and myself, I was way to late out of the gate 'cause we had to stress with getting the bike to work again I wasn't really focused"Still able to pass Rennie , Bas  was putting his power down to try to sprint by Schmith on the last straight."I came about half a bike short, but 7th isn't bad at all"
DHIt seemed like Claudio and Nico couldn't really make up their mind about what tire to use. "If it stays dry we probably going to use the white tiger but if it is going to rain, what the forecast is, we will definitely use the black turtle," according to Nico Vink.Come Sunday's race it started raining in the morning and it didn't stop until the race was over. With a 23rd place finish in these conditions, Nico had a solid result,
Claudio was feeling well at home in these conditions, but crashed on the steepest part of the course. "I was not able to make the turn after the steep bit, and lost control" according to a disappointed Claudio Caluori.
