Over een kleine maand zal de start van de Brasil Ride plaats vinden, de grootste mountainbike stage race van Noord en Zuid Amerika. Het Superior Brentjens MTB Racing Team zal deelnemen met 4 renners.
Hans Becking vormt samen een team met Jiri Novak in de Men Elite categorie. Bart Brentjens rijdt de Master categorie samen met de braziliaanse renner Abraao Azevedo. Anne Terpstra rijdt samen met Jovana Crnogorac uit Servie.

The 4th edition of the mountain bike stage race - Brasil Ride - happen between 19th to 26th October and it will bring together the world's fastest cyclists for an life experience in the heart of country, as the race as best known of it’s "more than a race, a stage in your life".
"It will be a historic edition of Brasil Ride, as we got the confirmation of the most respected athletes in the world, which highlights the participation of an Olympic champion (Bart Brentjens), eight world champions (Christoph Sauser, Rebecca Rusch, Roel Paulissen, Abraão Azevedo and others), and the some sports celebreties (Songo Fipaza, Christian Fittipaldi, Geraldo Piquet...) in the peloton in 2013. Our demand has increased considerably after the event gains the UCI’s status as it is scoring points in the international ranking. " said Mario Roma, founder of Brasil Ride.
The Brasil Ride provides seven days of pure mountain bike in the Chapada Diamantina ( BA ), totaling approximately 565 km of courses, climbing about 12,240 meters accumulated! It’s approximately 70 % of new tracks, but that “classic” stages are maintained, such as the prologue approximately 24km around city of Mucuge and the cross country stage on the third day of competition in city of Rio de Contas.
Another premiere will be in the last day, a stage with about 60km, which will be played in additional “Marathon Brasil Ride’s race”, an event valid for Bahia State MTB Championships, defining the state champions, in parallel.
The Brasil Ride is designed for amateur and professional athletes, combining men and women , veterans and newcomers, Formula 1 drivers, businessmen, music stars to world champions and Olympians. In this eclectic peloton, the Brasil Ride will have riders from 24 Brazilian states and more than 20 countries!
