The world cup season kicked of in Vigo, Spain. It is a great venue for a Mountainbike race. There was a massive, passionate, and enthusiastic Spanish crowd!
The 4cross course in Vigo is fantastic. It is a long course with big jumps and it suited me very well. On my first practice day I felt really confident and I decided to make the choice only to race and focus on 4cross and not to compete in the Downhill.
My qualifying run went well, I had the 3rd qualifying time. During the final run I battled with Vanessa and Jana in the second and third corner, here I made the move for second place. Needles to say that I was happy to make the podium at this first world cup.
