AMERSFOORT, Netherlands (January 14th) - Striving to complete the list of parts on offer, SRAM Corporation has signed a Letter of Intent with AVID LLC. A nice addition to the SRAM and Rockshox product lines, AVID is well known for it's innovative brake products. Especially their adjustable brake levers and the work done on making disc brakes available for the (mountain) bike market have put the company in the picture. The conclusion of the due diligence is expected by January 30th. Detailed plans for the future and integration of both companies will be unveiled at the March Taipei show. (MH)
