Riding hard arround the Netherlands

A question pls:
If for example next weekend is a perfect weather and you have a 150 mm trail bike



Where would you go within 3 hours drive?

Any suggestions ?
Just some ideas pls

The south of Limburg is the only place in NL where you can find some trails that are 150mm-worthy.
Most dutch people who own a bike like that throw it in their car and ride to the Ardennes...

Voor hetzelfde geld woont ie ergens boven in Friesland of op Texel of ergens.
Dan zijn die drie uur zo voorbij

ik woon in Alkmaar , but i lets count 3 hours from Utrecht if somebody wants to be very precise )

Malmedy is 2,5 uur rijden vanaf Utrecht, dus die telt ook nog mee.

Aachenerwald, at Drielandenpunt Vaals (border Nl-Belg-Germ), has some nice trails and a downhill park:

What are you looking for? Nice trail to do over-and-over (~ bikepark style) , several hour tour, ...

For the latter there are plenty of opportunities in Belgium (~south of Liege) for the type of bike, the only difficulty is that these are not the standard "Bloso" routes (*) so you need somebody to follow or GPS (and find the gpx).

(*) Is not Flemish, so it is not Bloso...

Was een paar weken geleden bij dat bikepark. Lag er verlaten en verwaarloosd bij. Kon er ook zo op zonder te betalen.
