UK Rider for routes around Valkenswaard

I am staying in Center Parc De Kempervennen for the Easter holiday and would like to find some off-road routes in the area

Can any offer any advice?

Here you can find all routes in the province Noord-Brabant:

There even is a route that crosses the entrance-road to the Kempervennen
If you leave the Kempervennen, the route should cross the road ± 25 meters after you left the park. It's 37km's long, that's about 23 miles.
If you click the link to the Valkenswaard route you can see a Google-map of the route.

If you have a gps, you can also try http://www.gpsies.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for some mtb-tracks near Westerhoven/Valkenswaard (website is also available in English).

If you don't mind a 45 min drive, you should absolutely try the official Drunen route (no. 2 in the current top 10 on mtbroutes.nl). It's probably (one of) the most beautiful route in the Netherlands. You can start at one of the following addresses:
Oude Bossche Baan 11 in Biezenmortel (postal code 5074RC)
or
Roestelbergseweg 2 in Kaatsheuvel (postal code: 5171 RL)

I'm sure you won't regret the drive.
You do have to buy a permit which costs 1 Euro for a day per person.

Thank you both - I am not sure the family would appreciate me driving off for a ride when this is a family holiday. However, I do like the gpsies.com website as there are a number of routes in the area.

Now that does sound interesting..... what time and from where do you ride.... and how long are your rides typically??

The leftmost 2 loops of the waalre route are also pretty nice... I ride there quite often!

Just make sure you realise it's all pretty flat over here

We start at 18:30 at "De Hut van Mie Pils" which is the starting point of 2 of the 4 routes around Waalre. I live in Valkenswaard and if you want we can meet up on the way to the starting point.

We do between 25-40 km depending on the weather and how quickly the sun sets

When exactly will you be staying at Center Parcs?
